Clinical Supervision

In the State of Texas, to acquire licensure as a clinical social worker, you must:

Hold a masters degree in social work from an accredited university

Have your Master’s level license in the State of Texas

Complete a minimum of 100 hours of supervision with a board approved supervisor

Complete 3000 hours of professional clinical experience (that includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge).

Obtain the above two items in a minimum of 24 months (no less)
All 100 hours can be completing remotely while living anywhere in the state of Texas.
Note: Months worked in a clinical setting PRIOR to beginning supervision do not count towards your requirement.

Individual Supervision
Conducted remotely 4x a month for 60min each.​

Individual schedule: Flexible evenings and weekends, limited slots.
Note: All supervisees will start with individual for 1 month before they can transition to group if desired. This allows me time to get to know each supervisees specific placement, skills, goals, etc. before they transition into a group setting. A hybrid plan (1 group/2 individual monthly) can also be accommodated.

Cost: $360/month
Group
Supervision
Conducted remotely as a group session 2x a month for 2 hours each time.

Minimum of 3 people to a group (maximum 6)
​
Group schedule: Based on current participants.
Two groups currently available: Fridays at 4PM and Saturdays at 8AM (2x a month for 2 hours)
Cost: $280/month

Additional Options
Providing telehealth within the practice under the board approved supervisor is also an option while under supervision. Supervisees will be assigned cases that meet their skill level and professional interests.
